WANT PEAR
Type design
WANT/PEAR is a display typeface created based on a physical type specimen. The letterforms are based off graffiti tags I had seen in real life. I used Glyphs; it was a challenge learning a new software, but it gave me a small peek into everything type designers need to consider. While I’m not a type designer myself, typography is my favorite tool to use, and one of my favorite expressions of graphic design. I had fun!
